DogsOfSteemit Challenge || Lizzy, the Pekingese

My entry to the #dogsofsteemit challenge initiated by @supernovastaffy is about the soul of the house, Lizzy.

The story starts on a rainy November day back in 2009. My sister came home carrying something ridiculously small for a living creature.

The little one was so tired and scared...so many new things. Soon after getting warmer, she felt asleep in the middle of the bed into the main bedroom (this is where she sleeps ever since).

After few hours she woke up very hungry and playful. We still couldn't believe how small she is.

Soon Lizzy became the princess of the house and claimed the best spot in the house, my mother's armchair. A neverending battle is taking place even today, both my mom and Lizzy targeting that chair for its good position: near the fireplace and very close to the tv. Usually, Lizzy wins due to her sharp little teeth and my mom's patience.

As soon as the spring came, Lizzy expanded her kingdom over the garden and yard.

Time went by and Lizzy became friends with Cesar, the king of the household.

Today, Lizzy, the little menace, makes sure the rules are followed by everybody and nobody exceeds limits. 🙂
