INDIA: MUMBAI :
It's monsoon rains! Yay! I should be happy isn't it, but I was worried that "he" might be hiding, taking shelter and i might not find him to be able to rescue him.
"Golu " as we called him sweetly has been left on the streets to fend for himself by his very owners who kept him for 10yrs!! Where did the humans leave their feelings?? Was he not part of the family he thought he happily belonged?

There I was standing on a busy cross roads hoping to find him, probably drenched,well that's OK, I will still manage to make him feel at home, warm and safe.
Only if i find
Fingers crossed
Walking up and down the main street
I speak to Street dogs calling his name, they growl, they aren't Golu
They are not my Golu
They wish to be though, I see in their eyes
Longing to go home.
If there was adoption, if there were feelings, if humans cared!
Golu might have been right there, waiting to be fed milk, his all time favorite.
