There is not a thought in my brain that would make me put a picture on instagram, while you can do it on steemit as well and make a buck out of it!

I have no idea about the metrics of Instagram. How much money do 50k followers make?

I would tend to say less than people make on here - so not alot! 😅😅

I never really used Instagram so I wouldn't know. I also don't know how exactly people can earn over there.

I guess with product placements and this kind of stuff, but anyway with 50k people over here upvoting your stuff, you could make much more money I believe.

The number of people upvoting your content around here isn't as important as the quality of said voters. If you 1000 people who just started out yesterday with their 15 delegated steempower upvote your content, that is awesome because you have reached quite a few people.

But those 1000 people upvoting your content ten times ain't worth as much as one of the whales or a dolphin giving you an upvote. Which is why bid bots are such a common tool to see and use.

On the other hand, you have the potencial to help these 25ers grow themselves and, as they remain loyal followers, their continued support starts to grow stronger as well.

In a perfect world, you would have a lot of followers that religiously follow what you do and show and help them becoime people that end up being influencial by themselves. Some are doing this quite nicely.

I think that when I had like 150 SP thanks to a delegation, my upvotes were worth 0.02. Adding another 100 multiplier on top of that would make for a 2.00 potencial pay out, which of course is great in the overall scheme of things.

Sadly, as a matter of fact, if you see someone having that kind of score, 2$ for 1000 upvotes, you can usually be somewhat sure that some kind of resteem/curationtrail service has been involved in some capacity.

Another point to this is that the way Steemit rewards authors and curators does not necessarily reward people getting massive amounts of upvotes, either. The earliest and the biggest upvotes are usually the ones that matter. If someone with 15 SP sees a post that he likes that already has huge amounts of pay outs and upvotes, chances are that upvoting it won't give the author nor the curators nor the upvoter himself much of anything.

It would be nice if everyone would be big enough to matter, but at the end of the day, if everyone would be big around here, no one would be.

It is an very awkward economic system we are living in here.

You're right, but even if your followers have only like 15 SP, if you have 1000 or
more followers you'll still get a pretty nice reward.

I think 50 K Instagram followers could net you a pretty penny with advertising and affiliate deals. Much more then what most get here on Steemit.

Maybe.... I dont do instagram so no idea haha

Neither do I ... ..
