On the weekends if we're not focused we can get derailed by all of the weekend activities and not stick to our diet.

We could even become lazy and decide not to workout, reasoning to ourselves that it's the weekend we can just relax!

In this video I hope encourage you to stay focused.

I just love ice cream. It's not your friend's fault, it's hard to resist when you see ice cream, you know. lol...

So, what suggestion do you have for all ice cream lovers out there to stay fit and healthy, @gflfitness?

What up @rezoanulvibes! Nothing beats a good icecream on a hot day!
However if you're trying to lose weight, or you are watching your sugar intake, here is where balance comes into play.

There is a lot of debate on counting calories. However If you eat a balanced meals and you exercise regularly you can indulge in a little pleasure time to time.

The reason why most people don't stick to a diet is because they eat a lot of foods that they do not like. They also restrict themselves too much.
Eventually the natural inclination to eat whatever you want falls back into play.

My advice as I suggested earlier is to practice balance. If you're trying to lose weight set up a goal that you can reach, then reward yourself when you achieve let goal.

For example, give yourself 90 days and stick with your diet and your exercise routine.

Stay away for 14 days from your favorite food, for example ice cream.
On the event you maintained your diet and exercise routine after 14 days, Then you can indulge in a scoop of ice cream.
I called this award yourself!
Try not to eat your ice cream at evenings. A good time could be right after a strenuous exercise. That's when your body absorbs sugar and calories better.

Then try staying away from ice cream for 3 weeks all the while maintaining a strict diet.

Maintain this system until the 90 days is completed.

Please let me know if this helps 💪🏾

Some people are so obsessed with counting calories and push themselves in an extreme level. But just after a couple of days, they start eating like they used to before. And they don't get the result at the end.

Setting up small goal seems easy. And if there is a reward like ice cream for ice cream lovers, that will definitely motivate more :)

On behalf of all ice cream lovers, thank you so much @gflfitness for your valuable suggestion! :)
