There are different moves in self defense. You can use these moves to defend yourself. When you watch this, sometimes it seems that's not so powerful. It's just a slap. It does not do much to the attacker.
Well, every move is not designed to make the damage. There are some moves that you use to distract your attackers with a view to making your next move.

Fred Mastro is a fake, he only looks good with a partner doing choreography. He has never been able to prove his system under pressure, which is important for martial arts and especially important if one is taking money to teach "self defence".
Have you seen his fight on YouTube, we have children at our gym who can fight better.
I watched his other videos on YouTube. Franky speaking, I don't like his approach that much. I wanted to share some videos, just watching his video, I changed my mind.
I love to hear other people' opinion. Yes, when you are under pressure, you are not going to remember those fancy moves that you show on camera. And that's not going to help you defend yourself.
