A tube well is a type of water well in which a long tube or pipe is bored into an underground in the well. The lower end is fitted with a strainer and a pump lifts water for irrigation.
The required depth of the well depends on the depth of the water table which is also known as upper surface of the zone of saturation.

Reservoir made outside to restore water:-
A small or big reservoir of water is made at the outlet of the tube well by which pipe withdraw water directly into the reservoir which is used for irrigating, drinking or various purposes

2). The interior water table is fairly close to the exterior surface.
3). Able to get water for drink and irrigate can be large areas.
4). It is much more reliable during periods of drought when the water surface get dries.
