Stay Away From the Eggs for Breakfast

What is your idea of a healthy breakfast?  For years we have heard from vaious media sources that foods such as bacon and eggs are unhealthy and cause metabolic diseases. But, science has proven them wrong consistantly concerning the matter.

Living on a farm for many years where we grew our own food, including eggs, beef and pork, continues to be the healthy way to go.  But, who has the space to do this?

Free-range chickens and grass-fed beef rank at the top of the list of healthy eating.

For years we were encouraged to stay away from eggs and meat other than chicken.

Diabetes has become such a big health problem with 27 million people in the USA alone having type 2 diabetes.

Due to this stat doctors are continually warning of breakfasts of cereal or carb loaded foods.

The University of Eastern Finland performed a study which was published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition showing studies of the diets of men in the 42-60 years age range.  They were tracked for about 20 years with the purpose of detecting the development of type 2 diabetes.

The findings showed that eating an average of 4 eggs per week only had a risk of 37% less chance of developing type 2 diabetes than those who ate only 1 egg a week.

Another benefit for egg eaters is the lowering of blood sugar levels.

Eggs are considered to be almost the perfect food particularly from free-range chickens.  They are loaded with many vitamins and minerals, antioxidants, healthy fats and cholesterol.

Many studies show that eating eggs for breakfast  rather than carb based foods such as cereal, doughnuts or muffins curbs hunger levels for the remainder of the day making it easier to control one's weight.

It's important to do all we can do to ward off diabetes by diet and proper exercise as diabetes affects so many parts of the body.

Eating low carb foods and lots of fresh fruits and vegetables is a good start.

Even though diabetes can be reversed with certain tecniques by controlling blood sugar levels and loosing that "belly

fat" why risk your health and way of life to venture there?

Do you think this kitty realizes he needs to loose his "belly fat"?
