Here is a little compendium I did for Newbies and give them if the reply to my post or if I see interessting post on their blog :-)

Welcome to Steemit !

Never do more than 4 posts a day - otherwise you will loose some rewards (1-4 post = 100%, 2-8 = 75 %, etc.)

most important thing: do good posts

second important thing: as newbie with low Steempower it is recommended to upvote yourself as much as possible (your own posts + comments + replies)

third thing: watch your voting power: https://steemd.com/@john.difool - one vote costs you 2 % and every 24 hours it will recover 20 %, so you can cast aprox 10 votes per day !

fourth thing: follow and mention @cleverbot and @banjo in your posts or comments, they will give you additional upvotes (aprox 1 or 2 cents per post) - but please behave and do not exhaust them in a missusing way !

fifth thing: if you have some SBD in your account already use boosters like @minnowbooster and @morwhale and @drotto to boost your posts a little and to get broader audience...

with @banjo and @cleverbot you also can have little conversations -

they claim to be Artifical Intelligence but in truth they just mix up previous replies...

but this is funny from time to time to some extend and you will earn some cents -

but please don't exploit them - other people also want to benefit from them ;-)

as soon as you have some sbd in your account make sure to follow @drotto and to send 0.001 to 0.003 SBD with the your posts url to @drotto - it is a very nice way to double your money or even more

same thing with @speedvoter (up to 0.02 SBD)

and @minnowbooster - starting at 0.01 SBD

posts should not be older than some hours for @speedvoter, 48 hours for @minnowbooster and I guess up to 5 days for @drotto !

In sense of longlivety of Steemit please do not abuse it in scammy and spammy way do not abuse the bots for reasons of rewardpoolraping.
