Bitcoin hat den niedrigsten Stand seit zwei Jahren erreicht. Aktuell liegt der Kurs der größten Kryptowährung bei etwa 16.500 US-Dollar. Die Pleite einer der größten Handelsplattformen für Kryptowährungen, FTX, sowie Gerüchte über weitere Insolvenzen belasten die Kurse nach wie vor.

Laut Bloomberg ist Genesis auf der Suche nach neuen Investoren. Das Unternehmen benötigt dem Bericht zufolge mindestens eine Milliarde US-Dollar. Andernfalls droht auch ihm die Insolvenz. Es habe auch Gespräche mit der größten Kryptowährungsbörse Binance gegeben.

Genesis dementierte den Bericht. "Wir haben keine Pläne, in nächster Zeit Konkurs anzumelden", so ein Sprecher. "Unser Ziel ist es, die aktuelle Situation einvernehmlich zu lösen, ohne dass ein Konkursantrag gestellt werden muss."

Nach einer Analyse von Into the Block liegt der Wert von 51 Prozent aller Bitcoin-Wallets unter ihrem Kaufpreis. Es ist das erste Mal seit dem Kurseinbruch zu Beginn der Coronapandemie im März 2020, dass die Mehrheit der Wallets im Minus ist.

Im November 2021 erreichten die Kurse zahlreicher Kryptowährungen ihr Allzeithoch, im Mai 2022 folgte ein marktweiter Absturz. Seitdem befindet sich die Krise im sogenannten Kryptowinter.

Viele Anleger wurden zusätzlich durch die Insolvenz von FTX geschädigt. Das Unternehmen soll mehr als eine Million Gläubiger haben. Dem Gründer und ehemaligen CEO Sam Bankman-Fried werden "inakzeptable Managementpraktiken" und Diebstahl von Kundengeldern vorgeworfen.

Mein persönliches Fazit:

Wenn jetzt auch noch einer der größten Kryptoinvestor Genesis Insolvenz anmelden muss ,könnten die Kurse noch weiter sinken.

Persönliches bin ich Fasziniert und verstehe den Zusammenhang nicht ganz.

Wenn die 3 größte Börse Europas die Börse Stuttgart pleite gehen würde, würde dieses Ereignis den Aktienmarkt beeinflussen?

Warum soll also die pleite einer Kryptobörse die Kurse von Bitcoin und Co beeinflussen. Am Wert von Kryptowährungen ändert sich doch nichts.

My personal conclusion:

If now also one of the biggest crypto investors Genesis has to file for insolvency ,the prices could fall even further.

Personally I am fascinated and don't quite understand the connection.

If the 3 largest stock exchange in Europe, the Stuttgart Stock Exchange, were to go bankrupt, would this event affect the stock market?

So why should the bankruptcy of a crypto exchange influence the prices of Bitcoin and Co. Nothing changes in the value of cryptocurrencies.

Help me and the other readers to understand this connection.
