Du benötigst eine Wallet

Eine Wallet ist eine digitale Brieftasche beziehungsweise ein digitales Bankkonto. Sie besteht aus Private Key (nur für dich) und Public Key (für alle, mit denen du Bitcoin handelst). Die meisten Broker und Börsen bieten zwar eigene, integrierte Wallets an. Dabei handelt es sich jedoch in der Regel um sogenannte Hot Wallets, die im Zweifelsfall gehackt oder anderweitig kompromittiert werden können. Wenn du deine eigene Wallet hast, kannst du dich vor solchen Dingen schützen.

Bitcoin ist hochvolatil (meistens)

Bitcoin zählt aus Investmentperspektive als Hochrisiko-Asset. Das liegt daran, dass der Bitcoin-Kurs zum Teil enormen Schwankungen unterliegt. Man spricht hier auch von Volatilität.

1 Bitcoin ist immer 1 Bitcoin wert

Dieser Hinweis hängt mit dem vorigen Punkt zusammen: Wenn du von der Technologie und dem Wert von Bitcoin überzeugt ist, lass dich nicht von den Kursen verrückt machen. Denn 1 Bitcoin wird immer 1 Bitcoin wert sein.

Es ist nur eine Phase

Ganz egal, ob die Bullen die Preise in die Höhe treiben oder die Bären gerade Weltuntergangsstimmung verbreiten: Es ist nur eine Phase. Bis jetzt folgte auf jedes Hoch wieder ein Tief und auf jedes Tief folgte wieder ein Hoch.

Dieser Artikel ist wahrscheinlich für die meisten Krypto-Investoren die meinen Blog verfolgen kein Neuland.

Actually the logical consequence of these tips: Try to stay calm. Unless you're a day trader (and you already know all that anyway), you're probably on the safe side with a long-term Bitcoin investment.

This article is probably not new territory for most crypto investors who follow my blog.
