Manchmal kann es einem schon sehr schwer fallen, alles mit Zufällen und ungeplanten Vorgängen abzutun. So denken vielleicht, momentan auch viele Nutzer einer speziellen Nachrichten-App.

Android-User beschweren sich über einen "teuren" Bug
Wie berichtet wurde, kam es in manchen Fällen, durch die Google-News-App, zu nächtlichen Hintergrunddownloads, die gerade bei Usern, die über keine diesbezügliche Flatrate besitzen zu hohen Kosten führte.
Selbst bei Anwendern die per Einstellung ihre Willensbekundung abgaben, dass sie nur im WLAN Downloads durchführen möchten, half diese Option nicht, auch hier kam es zu diesen unerlaubten Downloads.
Abhilfen
Die wohl einzige Möglichkeit diesem Kostenrisiko entgegenzuwirken, ist anscheinend ein vollständiges Abschalten der Hintergrunddownloads, oder eben die Deinstallation der betroffenen App.
Nachbetrachtung
Was mich hier etwas nachdenklich werden lässt ist, dass Google bereits seit September an einer Lösung dieses Problems - was anscheinend bereit im Juni erstmalig aufgetreten ist - arbeitet, aber bisher noch keine Lösung finden konnte.
Warum erfahren die Betroffenen erst jetzt von diesem Missstand? Vergessen, Unwichtig oder gibt es da noch andere Gründe? Warum müssen denn erst User auf solchen Fehler hinweisen, bevor dieser Umstand veröffentlicht wird?

As was reported, in some cases, the Google News app led to nightly background downloads, which led to high costs, especially for users who do not have a relevant flat rate.
This option did not even help users who made a statement by setting their will that they only want to carry out downloads in the WLAN, as these unauthorized downloads also occurred here.
Remedies
The only way to counteract this cost risk seems to be a complete shutdown of the background downloads or the uninstallation of the affected app.
Review
What makes me think a bit about this is that Google has been working on a solution to this problem since September - which apparently appeared in June for the first time - but has not yet been able to find a solution.
Why are those affected only now learning of this abuse? Forgotten, unimportant or are there other reasons? Why do users first have to point out such errors before this circumstance is published?

Ich vermute bestenfalls Unlust, wahrscheinlich Vorsatz.
