Deep Dives 7
“WikiLeaks is a giant library of the world’s most persecuted documents. We give asylum to these documents, we analyze them, we promote them and we obtain more.”
- Julian Assange
The Wikileaks archive contains well over 10 million documents Wikileaks Docs have been cited in over 28,000 academic papers and US court filings
https://www.wikileaks.org/
Participants are able to select their own topic for research depending on individual interest. Broad categories from international politics, the economy, war, military, corporations, trade, intelligence, etc. offer endless possibilities. Use the custom search feature to sharpen your focus.
The Wikileaks Index
Back in late 2016, Wikileaks revealed the existence of a little known index that combines onsite and offsite resources relating to Wikileaks material. This invaluable tool helps make the mammoth amount of documents available on the Wikileaks website more accessible and systematic.

We recommend that you take the time to properly explore available privacy tools and VPNs.

As a student, I've seen this as a great initiative. However I think I am still lack in coherence and cohesiveness in my writing. So, I am just going to use the challenge guidelines to improve my analytic and research skills. Good luck to all upcoming participants!
Well having a look through your blog, I think you are more than capable of writing a research piece on a deep dive topic of your choice. The information gathering and presentation is by far the most important part of the process...the rest will generally take care of itself:)
I agree with palikari123, give it a go, you have nothing to lose.
Thank you guys for your support. I am going to read through first and learn from both of you :-) and all the other participants!
Cheers my new friend. :-)
welcome @macchiata
A high quality list of contributors above, hopefully I'll find the time to read the #deepdives tag this time around. Good luck all!
You know I'm in 100%! I have been cranking hard on improving my writing (and coding which the hardest part for me) to get my articles up to the pro level they need to be. My entry will look really good this time around ;)
Got my entry done today at the last minute (as usual lol :/ ): Plans to Destabilize and Topple Syrian Government Began As Early As 2006
Cheers! Always happy to get entries from you! Syria is a hot topic this time round and I'm sure this will be another great addition to the DD research. Thanks for being one of our core researchers, we really appreciate it!
Now this is more like it, count me in!......
A healthy academic opportunity to test and improve ourselves and create a good community discussion.
Bring on challenge #7....!!!!!
