Participants are expected to uphold the highest level of standards to personal and intellectual integrity. No participant may manufacture misinform misdirect or purposely delay the conversation and debate. All comments and replies must stay within the topic of discussion. Use references and notate. No replies can issue any unaccountable and unfair or disrespectful comments. No replies should encourage any acts that violates these conditions. Normally there are two sides to a debate. This is an open floor debate, meaning it is possible to have more than one side to a topic. Also any one on steemit can take part as long as you stay within these guide lines.

In order to agree or disagree reply on that comment agree or disagree and up vote only the ones you agree with. Use your votes wisely. To submit and argument agreement or different proposition submit a story and title the story "Debaters Topic #(#1 for example) your title at the end. In the tag you MUST have debaters as the very first tag and I suggest you also use debate as a tag as well.

I am fairly new here but I hope I covered everything needed to make this a fun group on steemit and good discussions to watch and take part of. I love to debate good controversy and conspiracy type topics.

Regarding video games and violence:

It's more of a which came first chicken or egg?

Since violence has always existed, the line of argumentation flows towards whether it exacerbates or escapes.

Do you want kids to yell at a TV while shooting bots or yelling at teachers while... well you get the picture.

The flip side is that video game violence promotes violence as a solution rather than discussion; which example do you want to set? Shooting someone or talking with someone?

Closing off, video game violence would help communication through multiplayer, but the anonymity behind the fact that you get random players each time you play creates a smaller incentive to connect with the person you are yelling at for not capturing C!

WHY DIDN'T YOU CAPTURE C BERT!!! YOU HAD ONE OBJECTIVE BERT!!!!

First of all:
#2 MEDICAL MARIJUANA- Should medical marijuana be an option?

If you are arguing for medical purposes, then yes. Medical marijuana SHOULD be an option. It is for the medical benefits.

Recreational? Well, that's a different debate.
