Yesterday, we broke the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS!

昨天，我們打破了健力士世界紀錄！

The event is called the “舞動香港正能量” which means “dancing for the positive energy of Hong Kong”. It was hosted by the charity organization SV Foundation and promoted the positive energy to HK young people. As a dancing school, our company was also invited as the supporting unit and the dance consult.

由宏星慈善基金主辦，這一個名為「舞動香港正能量」的活動，旨在推動香港的正能量予我們的年輕人！作為香港著名舞蹈學校，我們公司亦獲邀成為活動的支持單位及舞蹈顧問！

In this year, we visited numbers of high school in HK for dance tour to promote the attitude of being positive when facing challenge. And yesterday was our last mission – to attempt the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS – Largest modern jazz dance lesson.

在這一年期間，我們已走訪了香港數間中學，舉辦舞蹈巡演，向香港中學生以舞蹈推動香港的正能量，而昨天終於到了我們的最後任務 – 打破健力士世界紀錄：最大型現代爵士舞課堂。

It’s a big event and is one of the celebration events of the 20th Anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to China! The old record was 250 participants and we were going to break it with 589 participants!

一直到了昨天我去到會場，我才知道這活動原來是一個十分盛大的活動！而這活動同時也是香港回歸中國二十週年的慶祝活動之一！舊的世界紀錄是250人，我們昨天共邀請了589名參加者打破這個紀錄！

My Boss, Sunny Wong, one of the most famous choreographer of Hong Kong, acted as the dance teacher of the event and taught 589 participants to dance a full song of 3 minutes in 45 minutes. It’s a hard challenge so we needed to make the dance step simple so every participant can learn it quickly. And of course, we finally broke it!

我們舞蹈學校的校長，郭富城排舞師Sunny Wong親自擔任活動的舞蹈導師，目標是在45分鐘教導台下589名不懂跳舞的參加者，完整地跳一段3分鐘的舞蹈。我相信大家都很清楚這不是一件容易的任務，所以我們都將舞步盡量編排得簡單一點，讓大家能夠容易學會，而最後，我們當然成功了！

And we did it! 我們成功了！

Beside the dance lesson part, the event also invited HK famous new generation singers as participants and performing guest. They included BOP, Super Girls, Andy Leung@C AllStar and Phil Lam.

而除了跳舞部份，大會同時邀請了香港新一代的著名歌手一同參與打破健力士的活動及上台演唱，他們包括了BOP, Super Girls, 釗峰@C AllStar 及林奕匡。
