The remainder are actual manual 100% votes where I engage people on the platform and upvote them for @minnowsupport. I've seen several post about people complaining that their voting power is being killed by @minnowsupport. Several months ago I felt the same way about @steemtrail when I first signed up. I didn't really understand the importance of curating at the time. I also lacked a clear understanding of how to configure streemian.com Now I use Streemian and @Steemvoter to delegate upvotes. I knew that I received some sort of monetary repayment, but that was it. Curating is a lot more than just upvoting or resteeming a blog. Reading through content and offering real feedback and a proper upvote helps determines the value of that content. The real importance is creating a platform with diverse content. Could you imagine steemit if the only trending topics were, cryptocurrency, blockchain, and steemit. HAHA I don't have much steempower at the moment but I do know that my engagement goes just as a far as a $20 upvote because it taps into the human connection. I'm not worried about my voting power being so low because it will replenish. In fact, Ia m trying to get it down to less than 10%
