@raj808 got so excited about Creative Coin he wrote a poem! Creative Catalyst has a simple rhyme scheme with an efficent and effective message. I'm excited about the launch of creative coin on steem engine, as it gives an opportunity for the creative community on steemit to see more rewards, as well as support each other.

Inflationary Currency by @libertarianarts is my favorite poet @geke's account for political poetry. I especially like her play on the words "current/currency" and her use of the sonnet form.

The dame was trouble, like a mangy Calico cat—from a distance, beautiful, charming, nice. A girl you could really dance the sexy tango with. Up close, though, she was more like stale pepperoni pizza—a looker, but tasteless—or a frayed power cord—you might get lucky and she'd be happy for a long time, or she might just up and—ZAP!—electrocute you. Accidentally, of course.
I knew all of this. The problem was, those blasted warm amber eyes. They messed with your head.

If You See A Mangy Calico Cat by @glenalbrethsen is such a fun post to read- he plays with the series of prompts provided by @mariannewest and the freewritehouse in multiple ways, creating a series of flashfiction in a variety of genres. I am impressed with his creativity and wordplay.

“I’m telling you, we’ve got a mole” said Bill. Pete’s “Whoa” might have been interpreted several ways but Johnny’s “No way!” sounded so false. So exaggerated. I think the others might have started to doubt him right then and there. He certainly wasn’t feeling the love after that. Why did he talk that way?

Feeling the Love by @preparedwombat is an interesting take on the mobster genre, with strong characterization and a play on the idea of having a "lump in your throat".

"You wish to vanish from this Earth? You wish to set yourself free from the shackles of a flesh that keeps you a prisoner to a world you loathe with all the strength of your heart? Do it. Read it. Out loud when you'll be all alone. Make sure no one hears you, or you'll claim another soul from this world and it will be a new burden on your back to the life you're gonna enter. Alone and at night, in front of an open door go through the lines written in the darkest wisdom of the Occult."

The Letter by @ruth-girl is a piece of short fiction based on the ideas in The OA. I've never seen it, but I enjoyed the thoughtfulness of the piece.
