The SFT Curates--9/2/17
The SFT is back with three wonderful stories—a rollicking little thriller filled with offbeat characters (and raccoons!,) a succulent emotional tale that will make you appreciate what you have, and a heartwrenching true-to-life story that will really make you think. We hope you enjoy!
WHAT MADE THESE STORIES STAND OUT TO US?
We chose these selections because they are tightly written, well-edited, and show creative innovation. The authors were willing to work hard to get the technicals aspects right, as well as the storytelling mechanics. Great stories plus great authors is a win/win combination.
These three curated stories will appear today in the SFT Library at http://sftlibrary.com/
CURATION: 9/2/17
Our selections this week are listed alphabetically by username: “Passport To Glory” by @carolkean, “Peaches and Dream” by @Cristof, and “When The Tables Are Turned” by @tinypaleokitchen.
Minnie deals with patients every day who’ve fallen ill, fallen down, fallen on hard luck with their health. It’s her job. But the importance of her work takes on a whole new meaning when a familiar face looks up at her from the ER stretcher.
This curation trail is a project made possible by @aggroed 's PALnet @minnowsupport channel, conceptualized by @andrewgenaille, @rhondak, @mk40, and @swelker101. Logo created by @pegasusphysics. Congratulations to those 3 very deserving authors. I will look forward to reading more from all of you!
Thanks, Bex, and yes, congratulations to @tinypaleokitchen and the legendar@Cristof!
Just... speechless. (Enjoy that while it lasts) I can't tell you how honoured I am. I still think a lot of credit belongs with the people who edited for me. Thank you for that @bex-dk and @rhondak and @jrhughes!
That's very kind, but the story was there in you, and just as importantly, the willingness to work at the technical skill to craft it in an accessible way.
