The tag #culturevulture is a place here on Steemit, where you can share something unique about your country with the world. Instead of being a post about travel or tourism this tag is about sharing local experiences.
Inspiration
If your eager to get writing on Steemit and you don't have material this tag might be just the thing to get you going.
Inspiration is all around us. It may be a daily ritual where you live or a local passion that always reminds you of home.
Here I will call out some recent posts from the past week that stand out and really capture the spirit and the vision of this tag. There have been so many already this month, this is just a small selection but for more you can check out the #culturevulture tag. Winners of this months prize will be announced at the end of the month, but I have no doubt these posts are in the shortlist.

Traditions
There have been several great posts about Marriages and weddings. Culture Vulture is a natural place to post about these family celebrations.
One of my lasting experiences from travelling was a wedding I was invited to in India, and another in Syria. In my culture weddings are small family affairs. You would never invite a stranger or people you only knew for a short time.
On Steemit you can now experience an event that you would rarely get invited to when your travelling. This week @Steemwart shared a unique tradition from Aceh.

Tell us a bit about the ritual and fill in the details about why, how, and the cultural background. Don't forget a few pictures to bring it to life. We prefer posts with some original photography. I really like this idea. Excited to see what comes out of it.
Wow those kids on the elephant need to be careful, I just watched a nature show, and 400 people a year die by elephants, guess that is not a lot with 8 billion people
