The pain for ethereum fans has been relentless in 2018, with the cryptocurrency sliding more than 80% from its January highs.

Then, moments ago even more pain was unleashed by an unlikely source after Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum's 24 year old co-founder, said that "the days of explosive growth in the blockchain industry have likely come and gone now the average person is aware of its existence."

🗞 Coinbase Explores Crypto ETF, Changelly Verifies Monero Traders

US exchange Coinbase is reportedly exploring possibilities to create a cryptocurrency ETF and we’ve covered the details in The Daily. Also, Bittrex announces fiat pairs for cardano and zcash, Changelly admits requesting KYC documents from clients trading privacy coins like XMR, and Monero developers find another bug.

🗞 Bittrex Announces Fiat Pairs for Cardano and Zcash

Another US-based exchange, Bittrex, has recently launched fiat trading pairs with two altcoins, cardano (ADA) and zcash (ZEC). Eligible Bittrex accounts, created before September 4, are enabled for trading, the platform announced on Twitter this week. New users will have to submit a request to add USD trading to their accounts after passing KYC procedures. “Cardano (ADA) and zcash (ZEC) have been added to USD (fiat) markets,” according to the post conveying the information about the launch. The crypto trading platform is compliant with the requirements for carrying out fiat transactions since March.

🗞 Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong: 1 Billion People Will Be in Crypto Ecosystem in 5 Years

In an interview with TechCrunch, Armstrong projected that the crypto ecosystem and the total number of digital currencies will grow substantially, attributing the growth to commercial organizations which develop their own tokens. The tokens would reportedly function together with equity as an alternative investment system. Armstrong explained:

"It makes sense that any company out there who has a cap table should have their own token. Every open source project, every charity, potentially every fund or these new types of decentralized organizations [and] apps, they’re all going to have their own tokens.”

China appears eager to be at the forefront of technological development and adoption. In 2014, Chinese company WinSun Decoration Design Engineering took 3D-printing technology to a whole other level when it printed a 10-house village in less than one day. In May 2015, what is apparently the world's largest floating solar plant was completed and connected to the power grid in China's Anhui province. And now there are plans in China to build a 161-kilometer solar expressway that charges electronic cars as they drive along. In 2016, president Xi Jinping laid out plans for the country to be a leading worldwide innovator by 2030.

The previous low created a nice support line with already 3 touchs on it. These 3 touchs confirm that this line is doing well its job but it doesn't mean that it is impossible to break it. It is possible now that we created a "W" pattern and that we go test the diagonal resistance line around 0.91-0.92$. Let's see if we stay upper or not of the support line in green during the coming hours...
