Steem and SBD price have shown some good gains in past few days.

I have decided to post a slight comparison of bitcoin and steem.

This comparison is not based on price movement or market cap because bitcoin absolutely tops the list in these aspects because of it's early adoption and age.
Here are few points that i found steem to be more transparent then all other crypto currencies.

MINING
It's a mineable asset which means it can be mined using some specific algorithm and settings by anyone.
If you want to mine bitcoin you just need a lot of money 💰 to buy expensive hardwares and start your setup anonymously and mine lot of bitcoins, this supports the theory of making rich more rich.
But on steem it's different, you just have to setup mining server which cost almost same for anyone regardless of their daily pool reward.
But a miner or witness have yo extract witness votes for himself, now this makes it revolutionary, each and every user of steem network has the power to decide their witness votes. (In simple language, it looks like democratic state where people elect their own leaders whom they think to act positive for their society)

FOUNDER
Who created bitcoin?
There are theories that the developer is named as Satoshi Nakamoto, some says it's backed by top intelligence agencies to monitor black money, there are lot more theories out there but only theories, none of the above is proved 100% true.
However this is not compromising the authenticity of bitcoin network but it raises concerns at some point.
Who created Steem?
Who don't know. The great man is here on steem network sharing this social platform with each and every steemian on steemit.com.
So this makes steem another reliable asset because we know where the root are and it left us with no matter of doubt.

TRANSACTION TIME
The time my one bitcoin transaction takes to complete is equal to the time in which we can easily make 50-100 steem transfers today.
Ok let me add here,
This is the beauty of steem which gives it superiority over other currencies is the transaction time which is almost instant like e-currencies

MEETING
Can you imagine of meeting a group of bitcoin miners and suggest them something, remember the bitcoin hardfork some of the people want it some don't, but still it took place which it think is unjust for those who were holding coins and not supporting it.
In steem there is steemfest where all those people meetup share there views (i m sorry i don't have exact knowledge about steemfest) and each and every holder of steem can post there views on steemit.com vote their witness to make community better, which makes it more reliable and worthy.

I don't want to undervalue bitcoin but i shared my view that why i trust steem more than bitcoins.

These are some key points, believe me there are many out there but i only shared few of them.
