Prediction: Litecoin is Going to Moon Soon
This has been Litecoin's weekend. The currency not only reached its best prices since November 2013 but the number of transactions between Saturday and Sunday managed to surpass that of Bitcoin. At this time, when it is 9:00 am in New York, the price of Litecoin is 46 , 41 dollars, 12.62% more than yesterday and 47.47% more than the previous week. The number of operations in the last 24 hours was 1.55 billion dollars. Here is the important detail: It exceeded Bitcoin that in the same period had transactions for 1.42 billion dollars.
Litecoin went back (from yesterday) in the fourth position of CoinMarketCap, with a capitalization market of 2.3 billion dollars.
In addition to Litecoin, the top five currencies had a price increase but in smaller percentages than she. Bitcoin rose 0.28%, Ethereum 2.07% and Ripple 4.63%. Ethereum Classic did get a higher percentage: 13.08%.
Litecoin has a market cap of 2.6 billion USD and it was up around 56$ last week. It gained a few dollars over the weekend. It is around 50$ now, so approx 11% below it's all time high.
