some ideas for promoting mass adoption of cryptocurrency
Like many, I believe that cryptocurrency is of huge benefit to humanity. In order for it's potential to be realized it needs to be mass adopted. I have 2 ideas to help drive mass adoption but welcome more.
- tip with paper wallets or similar concepts
- require personal loans be repaid in cryptocurrency
Tipping with cryptocurrency would provide incentive to learn the concept of cryptocurrency, and anyone tipped in cryptocurrency would be a likely adopter. One way to go about this would be to generate and print a quantity of paper wallets and distribute ones tipping budget accordingly to the paper wallets. This could be done with a single transaction for most cryptos . If you are in a position where it is difficult to spend your crypo, i think paying your tips in it is a great idea, and of course could be part of the solution to the problem of spending your crypto.
Another Issue with cryptocurrency aside from spending it is obtaining it. A two birds one stone, solution would be requiring personal loans made in fiat be repaid in crypto. The second bird being mass adoption because one wanting to be loaned money would have to at least "dip a toe" in crypto involvement and familiarity
Mass adoption is ultimately what will continue to increases the value, usefulness, privacy, and benefit to humanity of cryptocurrency
