The ranking order is based on Alexa.com's Global Ranking metrics. This posting will list the final 5 most visited and influential website in the Crypto-currency world. This list is not perfect and if I missed a site or need to make a change, please let me know. I apologize for keeping everyone in suspense. Here goes.

The Global Digital Asset Exchange (GDAX) is owned and operated by Coinbase.com. At first, Coinbase setup for the purchasing of Bitcoin via U.S. Dollars. Once Coinbase began trading other crypto-currencies other than Bitcoin, they then created the exchange now known as GDAX. GDAX trades in Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and Ethereum. It seems that GDAX will be adding other crypto-currencies in the future, but with certain litigation pending against GDAX owner, Coinbase, it may be a while before any new coins are added to their exchange. Nonetheless, GDAX is a major player in the crypto-world, coming in at #5 on the list of Top 50 Websites in Crypto-currency.

Bittrex, founded in 2013, is a premiere crypto-currency exchange based out of Seattle, Washington. Bittrex is regarded as one of the most stable and secure crypto-currency exchanges today. Bittrex trades over 250 pairs of alt-coins, has some of the largest trading volume and is also one of the more well funded exchanges in the world. Their continued success places Bittrex at #4 on the list of Top 50 Crypto-currency websites.

Coinbase was founded in 2012 out of San Francisco, CA and backed by large Venture Capitalists like Andreessen Horowitz. Coming in at #1 on the list of Top 50 Most Influential Websites in Crypto-currency, Coinmarketcap.com is the go to website for the world of crypto. No other website carries as much weight as the information provided by Coinmarketcap. Founded in 2013, it would not be until early in 2017, when the world finally began to take notice of Bitcoin, that Coinmarketcap's website would really begin to make its move to the rankings. With the explosion in Bitcoin's price, the emergence of many new successful alt-coins and the new mania in ICO's, Coinmarketcap's site made its final move to the top late in 2017, currently retaining the crown as the Most Popular and Influential Website in crypto-currency.

Ha! My guess was right. In your last posts i guessed coinmarketcap and bittrex will be amongst the first 5 and yea they are.

You were correct @profchydon but for the coins, that you can find on coinmarketcap.com because that is exactly what they do.
