Here's why I think Augur will be a good long-term investment:

1.) The major cryptocurrencies have been enjoying an upside march for several weeks now led by bitcoin and Augur is just beginning to join the bandwagon. The overall market cap of cryptocoins has almost doubled and this is good news for Augur. Fortunately, the impact of the news is slow to manifest in Augur's price which makes this crypto a gem in the haystack.

2.) Just like bitcoin, the supply for Augur is limited. There are only 11 million tokens, not more. The holders of the tokens including large hedge funds are playing long which makes this token less volatile than most cryptos. With a small token supply and an even smaller number available on the market, you can imagine the huge impact of buying this crypto to its overall price.

3.) Its use is not limited to just speculation. While gambling will be the primary use, there are many other industries that stand to benefit from the use of the token. It could be used to predict the winner of the next presidential election, or the next UFC or WBC fight. It can also be used as internal incentives to employees, or to predict the likelihood of projects being completed on time or on budget. Even the weight loss industry could incentivize its customers by opening a market based on a target weight and date. Only imagination limits the use of this token.
