[Vlog] Dash conference, thoughts on state of crypto and attraction to BS
In today’s vlog I talk about the Dash Conference I plan to attend, crypto as a store of value vs means of exchange and people general attraction to bullshit! Enjoy!
I was reading this morning that there was a Dash conference happening here in London on Sunday. I missed the EOS presentation by Dan during the week, I found out too late. I also won’t be able to make the Blockchain Conference on Monday and Tuesday. However with all the crypto events happening literally on my doorstep, it makes sense for me to go to at least one. The timing of the Dash one works perfectly.
I decided to do a vlog about it, and lead me down a stream of consciousness that touches on my thoughts of the current state of cryptocurrencies and why I think it is important to have more on-boarding ramps like Steem where regular folk can earn crypto.
I also touch on people’s inclination towards frivolous nonsense online.
First video of yours I've watched. Enjoyed it all but the final aside was the best bit! I agree wholeheartedly about people not valuing thier time. So much time wasted on shit, although I'll have to watch your Romelu Lukaku video out of curiosity ;-)

my biggest complaint thus far is still the on-boarding process. Fiat to crypto. Then crypto to fiat to make a convenional purchase. All of those fees are starting to be worst than the banking system. If it weren't for steem, I would still be debating investing in crypto. I'm all in now.

Sure we can meet up when you're in town. Although take any investment advice from me with a pinch of salt. Dash (or Darkcoin as it then was) was the first crypto I invested in. If I stayed the course and just invested in that, I'd be laughing all the way to the bank!
It has been my most solid and best performing investment to date. Just wish I had bought more at the time. It's locked up long-term

I bought some dash a while ago and left it on cryptsy. Not too happy about losing that amount as it's worth a pretty penny today. Looking forward to hearing about it, are you going to Steemfest?

Yep - the conference is close to where I love so makes sense to check it out.
