If the fork happens the price will most likley dip a bit and then rise, if they do not come to a consensus for segwit this will signal discord within the bitcoin sphere and the market will have a heavy downward slide
Probably less will happen than we all fear. Bitcoin was designed to follow the popular vote. A hard fork is not the end of it although price could fluctuate heavy during a contest between 2 chains as a result of a fork. A hot summer ahead.
