Dash Has Ambitious Plans for Mass Adoption

Strategic Advisor and Founder of Dash, Evan Duffield, along with Andy Freer Dash's CTO released the three stage development of Dash's largest undertaking yet.
Dash has been operating under the radar ever since trading around $12 at the beginning of this year to now exchanging around $175.
The significant jump came on the heels of endorsemennts from Roger Ver, Doug Casey, and Jeff Berwick. Ver tweeted his displeasure for the bitcoin scaling conundrum by sending $100,000 over the Dash network.
Scaling Towards Commercial Transaction Speeds
The maximum capacity for a financial payments juggernaut like Visa is 56,000 transactions per second.
Dash has laid out a gameplan on Github that will take the digital currency to 40,000+ transactions per second.
Such a plan comes from a core team that has continually expressed in interviews that they will have a better product than bitcoin. The Dash team may be brash but it is hard to argue with the confidence and vision with which they operate.
One thing that has continually impressed me about the Dash team is the way they conduct themselves. They treat Dash like a business, and it is. The fact that that stands out in a digital currency industry that is over 100 billion now shows how high this project can still go.
Time to Buy
In order to create a quality product as quickly as possible, the team had to create a solid foundation. We had to carefully plan the project’s roadmap, create enormous amounts of documentation, and do significant research to ensure that we do not make time- and resource-wasting mistakes during the creation of Evolution. We will soon be opening a vast amount of private documentation to the community, ensuring complete transparency of our development work.
That sounds like an organization that knows where they are headed. Time and again the folks working on Dash have shown that they have a pulse on what steps they need to take to produce a currency ready for mass adoption. The Evolution Roadmap is another solid example of that foresight.

I think dash will be used as a stable currency for online retail purchases, bitcoins fees are too high and too volatile, i atleast lose 4-8$ every time i buy an altcoin with bitcoin
I think so too.
Bitcoin seems like they want to incentivize large transactions and promote the security of their network. It may change after Segwit2x but it will take a lot to increase their transaction speeds for every day purchases.
look at ripple for example, they can send fiats across borders 4,000 miles away to another country in 4 seconds, and with bitcoin you have to wait an hour, screw that! Altcoins for the win!

I love Bitcoin, but dash sounds like more like a professional financial instrument. The name Bitcoin almost sounds like a gimmick.

Precisely. There have been quite a few folks from Indonesia, and SE Asia region coming to Steemit since its inception. The ability to move money for free and easy startup was a no brainer for them - or anyone for that matter, haha.
The Indonesians are a massive group of people that tend to work in hospitality and the leisure industries.
There are many millions more from the Indian sub-continent that work all over the middle east in construction for terrible pay and conditions. They have few options and then get hit with transfer fees...scandalous really.
It is a bad situation for those desiring to support their families back home.
The easier applications like Dash, and Steem become the faster wealth can be transferred from the working family member to those in need.

Interesting times no doubt. The digital age's answer to the miner '49ers from yesteryear, perhaps. I am participating, on a tiny scale, by buying Steem with 50% of my posts earnings.
