The means used to prevent copying and screen recording are pretty clever. Maybe the reason that the wallet is not open source is that they are afraid that someone will reverse engineer the buttons back to text? I would still beware of all closed source wallets. For all we know, the random seed might be taken from a known pre-generated list of seeds (in that case, I'm not sure how they would guarantee that none of the users got the same seed, though).
You could generate the seed somewhere else and import it then to the wallet.
I did not find more information about the random seed generator. Let's wait for the security audits...

As a complete noob when it comes to using wallets and storing your crypto I found this information to be very helpful for the future reference for me. The only currently I own now is STEEM really. So I really had no need to use wallets. Bu, I am slowly learning about all of this. :)

I strongly trust the enjin team as they are very transparent with thier product and progress.
Althought enjin wallet is not open source (like on github), this is likely a good thing as I am convinced its very secure and they want to keep that to them selves.

Thanks for the review. I've been trying to evaluate wallets and was not aware of Enjin. This really helped.
