DEPOSIT STEEM from Fiat through EASYDEX! - EASYDEX.NET TUTORIAL CONTEST #3

in #cryptocurrency6 years ago (edited)

Back again folks! Here is another EASY tutorial for ya!

This one will be the opposite of the last one where I will show you how to Deposit STEEM from Fiat and BTS using EASYDEX.

This video will walk you through a step by step process if you follow along. If you do exactly as I do you should see it work flawlessly.

You will need to DEPOSIT FIAT INTO EASYDEX EXCHANGE IN ORDER TO PROCEED TO DEPOSITING STEEM.

You will need to go to the DEPOSIT page and then click FIAT. Funds can be deposited via wire transfer using the bank detaisl on the exchange page.

You can see these depicted in the photo below!

Please make sure you double-check the fields before you wire the deposit amount. Important! Your transaction MUST include your BitShares username in the memo (description, reference, reason or message) field. This way EasyDEX knows which account to credit the amount.

Once you have FIAT Deposited then you can continue and follow the steps exactly below.

  1. I currently have EASYDEX.US.

  2. You then will go to the exchange where you will exchange your EASYDEX.US for Bitshares (BTS).

  3. Once you have BTS you will then exchange for EASYDEX.STEEM.

  4. Once you have EASYDEX.STEEM (the rest is gravy), you will then go to the Account Home Page and click "Deposit/Withdraw" on the left side

  5. Be sure you click "Gateway" and have EASYDEX.STEEM selected on the Deposit and Withdraw Page.

  6. then you will click "WITHDRAW NOW"

  7. A Popup screen will pop up and this is where you will enter you "Amount" and you "STEEMIT ADDRESS" (A memo is not required but I used one anyways)

  8. It's Done...Look how fast it withdraws into your account in the bottom right hand corner. (Thanks @ginabot )

How EASY is THAT??!!

I already use/have used Openledger and the Bitshares client to access the Bitshares dex. Is there any difference in terms of depositing or withdrawing fiat when it comes to easydex?

Besides the fact that Open Ledger got hacked ;)...but seriously Easydex has a password recovery system in place that is very nice and the user interface i feel like is much better personally. :)

Yeah, I started using the Bitshares client after the Openledger hack. Luckily I had not unlocked my wallet during the vulnerable period of time, so I was fine.

I was wondering specifically about depositing or withdrawing fiat directly to/from Easydex (not bitUSD for example). Is that easier than Openledger for example, or still a work in progress?

My recent experience withdrawing fiat from a centralized Canadian exchange was that it took 3 weeks to get my money, so I would not mind avoiding that step altogether.

thanks! good post

Great info heyimsnuffles will look into it thanks
