This one has been in the queue for quite some time. Sorry... no time to think much lately. But here it goes now.

Let's start with WHY you should choose Crypto.com

I am not trying to convince you here. Just making a deliberated comment of my own experience.

To begin with, I still don't have a card 😁 (will let you know more bellow) but even without it, it's already worth the experience I had with the app. So, let's first enumerate what I know as a base of comparison (you might know others and I will be happy to know more, and test):

• Crypto.com (old Monaco)
• BitPay (had a card, but then lost it because of the card issuer problem)
• Crypterium (getting better but still behind... much might change this year)
• TenX (I have a card, but to be honest, developments are too slow on this company, especially since Julian got out, but maybe it's a temporary thing, and I would understand)
• HOLD (European venture... slow/late start but I am keeping an eye on this one still)
• Others (many) that offer just a card, but there is nothing more on it...
• ...will mention Abra here... but this will be a different competitor in my view

So, what's great about Crypto.com then?

To start with, the most professional look APP of all the above and even if I compare it to bank apps. So for that, a big win already (means a great team behind developing). Then it goes through a very comprehensive understanding of cryptocurrencies and how to make investments services available with a reach of touch (that is all crypto needs to be popular).

Current features

These are the deep dive list of services Crypto.com offers and I know of (or can tell you about 😁).

Available for both iPhone and Android

Might not be a feature, but it's important to note that developments are flushed synchronously into both platforms. And not one and then the other. Consistency is important for companies dealing with money!

Card options

• Free Cards (stake MCO for 6 months, and then you can unstake it) - Currently only available on Singapore, but soon to roll out to US, Canada, Europe, and more countries in Asia/Pacific...
• Cashback (1-5%) on purchases (enhanced if you stake MCO in addition)
• Spotify FREE! (requires MCO staking and depends on card type)
• Netflix FREE! (requires MCO staking and depends on card type)
• 10% Discount on Expedia! (requires MCO staking and depends on card type)
• Airbnb 10% discount! (requires MCO staking and depends on card type)
• Access to private investments of MCO (requires MCO staking and depends on card type)
• Access to Airport Lounge (provided by LoungeKey) (depends on card type)
• Metal cards (depends on card type)

It's important to note these options around the next advantages I wrote below. Especially over the "No Fee" Withdrawals and the Interbank Exchange Rates!

Crypto Investments

Before trying this one I had only given a go to ICONOMI... and so far, this one (Crypto.com) is way better! Not as quick as ICONOMI to be honest (which is instantaneous), but so much more professional. Takes a few hours to have investments activated/accepted and the same with withdrawls. Check my teasing picture.

One thing to note here, the best performances are (were) noted when the market goes, for example, down and the Crypto Invest solution hold's it better than most downfalls. Over the last month, I had the opportunity to check it and the management is quite well done. It makes me feel safe to say that, my money is safe even on volatile assets like crypto.

Crypto Earn

Earn from 4% up to 8% p.a. on crypto assets. You can use (for now), BTC, TUSD and PAX (friking super stable... still need to understand more how/why). Soon Flexible periods will be available... which is what I am looking for. These options are also boosted when you have MCO staked.

I have not yet used this feature and the following one, but I am going to, soon. Testing these are my essence.

The earnings will be paid in the currency you deposit.

Crypto Credit

Want a Loan? Deposit crypto (currently only BTC, soon also MCO) and get one! This option is quite undervalued/explored in my view. Once this becomes popular, the credit market will evolve!

The interesting bit about it is that loans might become a LOT cheaper on crypto when compared with bank loans. And the added volume of crypto will just blow away any monopolized risk-based limits of banks. It is true that collateral can become highly variable, but that will just enforce the credit market to do even more business into it, taking volumes to a new high standard.

Future SWAP to CRO Chain

While this is all going, would you believe they are also making a transition to a new chain (CRO)? It's crazy, but for me, it's quite simple and logic. Alike EOS ICO, a 1 year period for slowly migrating everyone, makes it all even more interesting.

This is why you are getting CRO tokens airdrops (while you have MCO staked). If you check the conditions, you will understand that anyone not following the "long road" until CRO happens, will basically lose their bet. And it makes sense for Crypto.com users/investors. The least you want is pumps and dumps manipulating a company's transition to better technology.

This swap aims to also revise the maximum liquidity of the token, which was/is quite limited with MCO due it's low issuance quantity. Once done, CRO will be much more adaptable to the current market (at least with current forecasting). While doing so, changing technology (from Ether to ... EOS alike tech? LOL not sure, let's see), still keeping growth and new products coming, expanding to users across the world, being consistent on the media and professional across all channels I have tested... This aims only to be a great SWAP!

But I have a simpler one...

Get this 40 USD for free (link above)... stake any tokens you can (if you can). You will then need to wait 30 days if I am not mistaken, for the 40 USD to unlock.
