Support for Ethereum destroyed in Parity exploit announced!

If you're paying attention to crypto, you've likely already heard the news that now infamous developer devops199 -- an ironic name considering the lack of devops -- accidentally destroyed $300mm in Ethereum (or, $150mm based on who you listen to).

The exact number is unknown because Parity has been silent on this and has not responded to requests for comments from various media organizations.

That is until now!

Parity -- maker of the multi signature wallets that are at the center of this disaster -- recently announced that it has launched a support website where you can see if your MultiSig wallet is affected; and where you can seek out support if you are in fact, affected.

UPDATE: We very much regret that yesterday’s incident has caused a great deal of stress and confusion amongst our users and the community as a whole, especially with all the speculation surrounding the issue. That is welcome news to those affected, many of whom are rumored to be ICOs who have yet to announce that they have been affected...

As good as this support and communication might feel, unless Parity has enough to cover the $188-300mm loss, they're going to have to convince the Ethereum community to hard fork.
