Malta: On The Road To Become A Blockchain Island

Malta has become the first country in the world that has passed laws that is very favorable to the cryptocurrency community.

There were three laws that were passed last Tuesday, making the island country one of the world’s most attractive places to contact crypto and blockchain related projects.

The bills were proposed by Silvio Schembri, the Parliamentary Secretary for Financial Services, Digital Economy and Innovation, and were passed with unanimous votes.

The first bill called Virtial Financial Asset Act (VFA) deals with ICOs which requires them to publish a whitepaper and their financial history.

The second bill called the Malta Digital Innovation Authority Act which is the establishment of a Maltese government agency that will regulate crypto and blockchain market; this agency will be named Malta Digital Innovation Authority (MDIA).

The last bill is called Technology Arrangements and Services Bill which discusses the registration and licensing procedures to blockchain service providers.

Binance Expands to Uganda Releases First Crypto-Fiat Exchange

Hot in the heels of their successful expansion in Malta and being able to give their customers Euro to crypto pairs, the Number 1 exchange in the world now sets its sights in Uganda where it launched its first cryptocurrency to fiat trading platform in Africa.

However this initiative is not directly connected with their existing exchange platform and is tailored fit to the African Nation of Uganda.

The new Ugandan business of Binance are accepting registration currently and trading will commenced in the coming days to yet undisclosed date and time.

To entice users to register, it is offering 0.5 BNB to all first 20,000 users who will register plus one month free trading.

The management of Binance has also expressed the intent of expanding in other parts of the world where they plan to offer crypto to fiat trading pairs.

Microsoft Partnering With Two Blockchain Firms In Asia

The Taiwanese arm of Microsoft is said to have reached an agreement with two Blockchain firms.

These two companies are China Binary Sale Technology, a tech investment company and High Cloud.

The agreement will create a platform for enterprise blockchain development according to a press release on June 28, 2018.

In this three-part partnership Microsoft is said to be proving its Azure cloud platform as a base for China Binary’s Blockchain Service that will be used in the field of finance, e-commerce and entertainment that is primarily target to Asia-Pacific regions.

The General Manager of Microsoft Taiwan, Sun Jikang has expressed his confidence about their company’s ability to operational efficiency and security of China Binary’s Blockchain service while China Binary’s founder Sun Jiantao noted the importance of blockchain technology in fintech, business, science and other industries.

Google Invites Cardano (ADA) and IOHK Leader Charles Hoskinson To Meet

The internet is abuzz with the meeting of one of the internet’s juggernaut Google and one of the Crypto world’s biggest names, Charles Hoskinson to discuss cryptocurrencies and advancement in the technology.

It was revealed that Cardano will soon release the details about the meetings between the two.

Everyone in the crypto community is excited about this meeting as it might be a great sign for possible future collaboration between two leaders in their own field.

It was said that in the meeting Charles Hoskinson introduce the company to Google and gave a rough idea with some basic knowledge about Cardano and IOHK, then later discuss about its consensus protocol which is based on Proof of stake that validates transaction called Qurobos.

Tron Partnership With Brazzers and Traffic Junky

A couple of days ago Pornhub has announced on twitter that it is accepting Tron and Zencash cryptocurrencies as payment for their services.

Porhhub is said to be the largest adult entertainment website with over 115 Million users every day.

Not long after Pornhub’s Tweet the CEO of Tron Justin Sun reaffirmed the announcement and added three other companies that will be accepting Tron as a mode of payment.

These three companies includes Brazzers another adult industry player, Trafficjunky, an internet marketing company and Nutakugames which is an hentai game producer with over 20 million visitors monthly.

It seems that the Tron is slowly but surely realizing one of its primary goal of being a global-wide coin that is used by every firm.
