What is Monero?

Short said: An anonymous cryptocurrency!

Monero (XMR) is a decentralized, blockchain-based cryptocurrency, similar to Bitcoin. However, unlike Bitcoin, Monero has a stronger focus on privacy (anonymity) and decentralization, and takes a different approach to scalability. The word "monero" is taken from the Esperanto language and means "currency" or "coin".

Like Bitcoin, Monero can be digitally mined. However, the proof-of-work algorithm called CryptoNight at Monero is optimized for commercial processors, which makes it possible to dig for a broad mass. But this also means that Monero is "hidden" spiced up. It became known that among other things on Youtube, Monero is increasingly being liberated lately. Sometimes the CPU is even used up to 80%!

anonymity

The CryptoNight protocol uses ring signatures and stealth addresses. This has a number of consequences:

Stealth addresses are obscured insofar as in the blockchain the money entry and exit to a known address is not publicly available. This is only possible with the private key, or with the help of a viewkey, which the owner of the private key can optionally publish or pass on to a third party. Hence the name optionally transparent.

The current market capitalization of Monero (XPR) currently stands at $ 3,898,712,223 USD 1 XMR is currently worth $ 248.34 USD.

There are currently 15,699,028 XMR in circulation.

Monero, Guardian of the privacy

Wellcome to part two. This is the creative part where i will share my Illustrations.

Guardian MONERO, is the latest generation of the Autonomous AI. His body is made of an electromagnetic-biological alloy which offers him the best camouflage during the day and night.

MONERO is complimented with a round shield consisting of 98% Carbyne, which makes it an excellent protection against all sorts of firearms. With his Plasma Glock he is able to turn any rogue into zeros and ones.
