How to mine crypto from your gaming rig or single gpu
I have been doing research on mining for beginners and with a single gpu. If you already have a decent graphics card you can begin mining right away, but don't expect much. However, the way I see it, it's not about how much you make today, but rather what crypto is going to be worth next month or next year. When you are away from the computer, it can be earning a small amount of crypto for you, or even in the background while you are doing graphics lite tasks, such as surfing steemit.
The ultimate easiest way to mine is to lease your hardware with NiceHash They will take a bit more of your crypto than if you do more research into individual coins and mine them yourself in a mining pool. The reason is that NiceHash chooses the most profitable crypto to mine and mines it automatically. It then converts your share of the mined coins into bitcoin so you don't have to create additional wallets.
I am experimenting now with pool mining with my single nvidia 970 gpu. The crypto I am mining now is Verge, which is the rebranded doge coin dark I believe. The mining pool is https://miningpoolhub.com/
