Where are we heading to

Good day Steemians. It's a beautiful day over here and I believe it's the same with you.

The cryptocurrencies market has been in a bear period ever since the drop from the Bitcoin all time high. Many predicted that there will be a bounce back and a bull run last December. All TAs are now in the bin.

The drop of Bitcoin dragged Alts along as other Alts coin dropped. Steem is not an exception. Steem currently trading at $0.289860 have seen a huge drop ever since its peak.

The question is where are we heading to?

Is this the bottom or we are still going down? I have seen many analysis with some saying Bitcoin will reach $1500 before the bull run. This is not a good sign at all. Well, I don't let that bother me. Most of the analysis did not foresee the huge drop then why now.

Many factors are currently influencing the Bitcoin price. We have the government clampdowns that has been a major factor. Saddened by the growing influence of Bitcoin, most governments start imposing restrictions on the mining, trading of the coin.

I believe now is the time for alts to break the Bitcoin shackles. The SMT launch is expected this year and it's believed that the launch will bring in investors and drive up Steem Price.

It's time for other Alts to develop their values in order to break free from this shackles..
