Here is the process, step by step:
STEP 1. Download Byteball wallet by visiting the official Byteball.org page: http://bit.ly/Byteball
STEP 2. Once installed, open the wallet and go to Chat > Add a new device > Accept invitation from the other device and copy-paste the following code:
This will open up the Steem Attestation Bot. After that, just follow the simple instructions. You will need to enter your Steemit username and password via SteemConnect and a few seconds later you will have your GBYTE in the account, ready to go.

This is probably gonna end soon - they raised the necessary rep for attestation and lowered the payout for the third time. When the airdrop started this summer, even accounts with the reputation of 30 could participate.
My guess is they will discontinue the attestation after New Year.
