Iconomi (ICN) - Managed Portfolios for Crypto Investors
Iconomi is a Digital Asset Platform that allows a person to use the service to invest and manage their digital assets. It will be unique system that lets beginners or first time investors get into the crypto economy without all the hassle of dealing with extensive research, exchanges or wallets.
In Laymens Terms
For explanation purposes think of ICN as our local currency and we are going to invest it in the stockmarket. We don't know much about "stocks"(altcoins) or how to set up an investment portfolio so we go see a "professional fund manager" (Iconomi) instead.
The fund investor says: "sure no problem, what fund would like to invest in?" and from here we have a few choices between a safe/low risk investment (INCX) or a high risk/high reward fund (INCP).
The INCX Digital Assets Array (DAA)
This DAA included in this fund represent 92% (shown below) of the total market capitalization of all digital assets. With the majority the index weight in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash, Monero & Golem. With STEEM not being too far behind at 6.46%.
The INCP DAA Structure
The INCP will be able to connect the "average joe" to participate in Initial Coin Offerings (ICO) and other lucrative opportunities with ease, keep in mind the fund comes with a hefty performance fee of 20.00 %.
Iconomi states the the fund will have a higher performance target, lead by a team of experts conducting research.
Updates
ICN tokens are currently trading on the exchanges are will be available to use on the platform when it launches (within 2 months), although it's not exactly clear how you transfer tokens back to the platform yet. Early bird beta testers that made the sign up and brought ICN tokens can currently use the platform, for everyone they will have to wait to the official launch.
Future
Iconomi has bigger plans for launch and won't be limited to just these 2 funds shown in this blog. Professional crypto investor will be able to create their own DAA (funds) and charge fees relative to the funds performance. Incomoni believes it's the gateway for big investors who have lots of money but little time to research & manage crypto investments. Overall the future looks good for Iconomi and the digital assets economy.

Big, Big Fan of ICONOMI. I also think this is going to bring a lot of money into crypto. I know when I first got into crypto I wished their was something similar to a crypto mutual fund. Then ICONOMI comes along. I missed the ICO by 4 hours, hahaha. It has been such a great investment for me and I am looking forward to the future. Beta site is great if you have not checked it out. Also, they should be releasing the working platform this summer from what I have been gathering. ICN is also a good buy still as they just increased their fee's for transfers, which will increase the amount of ICN they burn each quarter. Good times my friend!

Not exactly sure how it will work yet, I think you buy icn with USD, ETH or Bitcoin then allocate those ICN tokens into a fund. I don't have access to the platform, so I'm not sure how they value ICN when it's used in different funds. Perhaps trade your ICN tokens into INCP or INCX and your trade back to ICN when you leave the fund. Eg ICN/ICNX or ICN/ICNP.
