INTRODUCTION

The internet has been a mainstay of our lives since the development of electronic computers in the 1950s and since then, the world has witnessed a lot of revolution starting with ARPANET in 1960 to the current internet that we use in the 21st century.
Over the years, lots of information has been passed over and through the internet through the development of electronic mails (emails) and so many other social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter and the rest.
These information are passed on successfully through the internet through the availability of tons of data in their kilobytes, megabytes and gigabytes which are made available by network providers in our locality. These are made possible by the bandwidth allocated to individual customers by these network providers.

The bandwidth, despite being available have come with it lots of limitations that hinders the usage of the internet by individual users.
These issues are as follows:

Limited Quantity

Despite being provided, the bandwidth provided by these communication companies are severally limited and comes short of the expectations of the users in proportional amounts. In Nigeria, the bandwidth is very poor that it rarely meets the demands of low income earners willing to use the internet.
Certain websites owners most times find error messages like bandwidth exceeded when their websites are being visited by users, leading to loss of millions of dollars by these individuals due to downtime. This points to a larger extent, the limitations of the bandwidth which struggles to meet the expectations of the users.

Unavailability in Certain Locations

Such was the fate of John, a good friend of mine who traveled to his home town in a remote town in Anambra state Nigeria for a family meeting. John would soon learn it the hard way, that there are no available network for usage, in order to enable him to contact the manager in his company to attend a meeting in his place, due to his absence. This was caused by the limited presence of a network mast or substation as the case maybe provided by the network provider , in his locality.
This is one of the major problems experienced by high end users in remote areas that are not popularly commuted.

Expensive Costs for Bandwidth

Subscribing for bandwidth in my country of origin, Nigeria is ridiculously expensive and the services I get are mostly poor with the network providers unable to meet the end user's taste.
This is also one of the major problems experienced by users that travels abroad from their places of residence for business and several other purposes. Due to the fact that the service providers in their different countries are different from each other, they now resort to data roaming in order to do some tasks as meager as sending a text message.
These data roaming are very expensive for foreigners and might limit them from using the bandwidth to a certain extent as they may want.

From the reasons listed above, a satisfying solution is needed in order to bring all these problems to an expected end.

BandZ also aims to decentralized the internet by providing what is called Mesh Networks. This Mesh network is a group of devices that are paired to each other in a synchronous manner to create a wireless communication. This eliminates the need of a central dependency in which several users are mapped onto one station(node) to obtain bandwidth which most times ends in network congestion and a very low speed in the usage of those bandwidths.

A decentralized internet also eliminates the congestion and speed problem which has been a common occurrence in the internet world. Error messages like network busy and session has expired will be a thing of the past through the Mesh network system. This will lead to an affordable and faster system of internet.
