[Crypto Talk] Typical bull run

As I was scratching my head what to deliver today, suddenly a phone call came right at the middle of afternoon.

"Did you sell it?!"
Me: No I haven't. What about you?
"You idiot! It's close to 4800$ now! What the fnck are you waiting for?"
Me: Why must I sell it? I'm asking what about you? Did you sell it?
"Nope. I'm still like a third from my target."

He shut the phone. Totally pointless.

What I know about him, is he bought some BTC when it was 12k. He HODL all the way to the top, can carry it all the way down. He curse everyone he knows who is involving in the crypto land for not informing him to invest early. He curse those who exited at 19k. He curse almost anything about crypto after he's stuck. I kinda understand what is his frustration about.

My point is, I don't even have BTC in hand 😂 Why would we be so excited for a small hike in price? It's not like we are going to dump those BTC before it hits another new all time high? I knew he wouldn't. Trading is all about psychology. When you have money that you can't afford to spend, but invested in cryptocurrency, good chance is you're overly excited. You tend to make wrong decision in going in the wrong time at the wrong price. By the time you see breakeven, supposedly you need to get out of the market and find a better entry, but you scared of whether it will rally further and you miss the boat. When everybody is fuding about a crash, you always find excuses to stay in and believe it will make another new high. Put yourself in my shoe, will you sell because someone suggest you to? Probably not. When you need to sell it, that's because you NEED to sell it. You don't need another reason to make a call and ask whether you buddy already sold it 🤣

I introduced him to Steem platform, he registered an account but never bothered to login and see how it goes. My bad that I weren't pursuessive enough to get him produce quality content. If he's in, I can probably enjoy a series of ranting about wrongly "invested" into cryptocurrency.

I mean come on, investing is all about greed and fear. When you invest in financial tools like stocks, futures or commodities and even foreign exchange, you need BOS - balls of steel. But when you do it with crypto currencies, you better have BOSS. What is a BOSS? Balls of stainless steel! Pardon to female readers, I don't have a better term for your perhaps, boobs of steel? That doesn't sound right anyways. I wish him all the best with his BTC in hand, all I care now is whether my Steem will worth more due to the recent price hike in BTC.
