Fungi friday - some lovely shrooms [Original Photography]
Hi guys
Had some lovely mushrooms appear in our garden recently so thought I'd get out with the macro lens and try to get some shots. I remember starting a #fungifriday tag a couple of years ago when I first got involved in Steem. I think @ewkaw has been keeping it going for all this time but here is my return to posting in it. :) Enjoy. All images taken with the 60D, 300mm Sigma Macro and my special macro lighting rig.

Yay! Good to see you back Mark with the lovely little fungi :) Yep... the tag continues and I see more people join. Especially now that Fall is slowly approaching.
We are still a tiny family of fungi lowers though.

I live close to a pretty large woodland now so hopefully there are a load of fungi in there somewhere.

i work on it. I try to recruit every author, in whose pics I detect mushrooms, despite the quality and artistic value!
Really like the black and white treatment, brings out the textures. Kinda like alien seashells on the moons of Jupiter or something.
My work always reminds you of home.

the first one almost feels like a fairy tale scene, just by itself ! without faeries or sparkles or magical effects, it captures something absolutely high-fantasy feel for me !

Its funny, lots of people seem to like the black and white one most, the first is by far my favourite
