Scandals
A night dimly lit
A light cozy dance
A crazy start
But the air is stiff
The room stifling
With staring silence
And wagging tongues...
❤
Opinions flew
Quickly In a hurry
And like a fluttering candle
They sought to quench
But nay! This is Love's birth
Its reign...
❤
We don't care
We are in the Sun's glow
In our cozy corner
We are far from their trails
And defaming words...
❤
What does it matter?
If you are 40
And I am 16
My heart knows love
And reaches for the Skies
Far into the night
Into the low lights
Of the welcoming Stars...
❤
I care less!!!
You are life's meaning
When they say, 'scandals'
I say, 'Love'...
Hardly will they hear
The gentle whispers
Of merged hearts
The dawn's flirting
With fleeing darkness...
❤
As we are transported
To the fluffy clouds
Where age is just a number
40 or 16...
❤
