Testing Negative for COVID and will have first vaccine in 3 days
Received text-message from NHS to book my first covid vaccine. In UK, the order to take vaccine is from older to younger people.
It is said the AZ vaccine is risky on people younger than 40s' e.g. blood clot - thus not sure what vaccine will i have ?
Also, took the home-testing kit sent from NHS (you can get a free on here: https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests )
And all family members are negative - god blessing!

Don’t worry @justyy, you can take AZ vaccine that has no side effects, I am also under 40 years and taken this vaccine one month ago because I was in priority list, from Surrey (in UK) , I had not any side affect just had high temperature for one day. But My other relatives had taken this vaccine, they had not any fever, fever depends on bodies immune ystem . Now waiting for second dose that is next month.

Hi @justyy, you may need a day off, the day after having the Astra Zeneca jab (with flu like symptoms). My husband was unwell after he received it. I had the Pfizer jab and was tired for a few days with a sore arm but it is a great feeling to get vaccinated ☺️
