Your delirious song accidentally turns out to be a black magic invocation. Indeed, the island quakes and the waves rise high. A roar shatters the air. Your song actually summons the Great Cthulhu from the depths of the ocean!
The Great Old One emerges from the water near the island. Confused by the location and yearning for good chaos, Cthulhu let’s rip and opens a trail of destruction up to the villa. You see Oddy wobbling about in confusion and you tell your band to continue playing.
They stare at you funnily, but they continued playing the delirious song that the freaks keep screaming as “eldritch.” You feel, hear and fear the quaking steps that continue to pound the island and shake up the concert. Each step getting closer, the rumbling finally stops, but soon everyone hears a massive body moving downwards and the ground squealing in pain from the pressure.
With immense claws, it uncovers the roof and seems to enjoy the music. It chucks the roof to the side. It’s flicking tentacled-hands headbanging along with its gigantic octopus head. Not wanting to piss off the Great Old One, you and your group play even harder, more cryptic, more delirious and with greater catharsis. But then, the song ends. In the silence, Cthulhu is at ease and stares at everyone, particularly you. Your band shoves you to the center stage as Oddy still trembles in fear, you take the mic and began fumbling.
Last night was the first time I played a board game based on these books. That game is so messed up! Destruction at every turn, even if there is something good coming from a card.
We didn't have time to finish the game, which had already lasted two hours.
Well hot damn, that's one hella a story tbqh. Was the campaign ye people had at least interesting?
Not bad. I was the newbie though. One guy went insane and then he had another character that I had to kill in a ritual killing. It was getting messy! I took him because the other person had lots of strength and we need that.
I always knew Cthulhu had bad taste in music. That's what he's really going to be remembered for, mark my words.
