If you remember, we just launched this wonderful community. We have been growing quite quickly and already have 39 members, and will only get bigger. When we launched we had a contest that had 1600 combined delegated SP up for grabs.

Mariannewest put forth some community outreach that she could potentially see steemusa doing, and gave lots of real-world examples of how this group could do some good in our "own backyards" so to speak. You could feel the passion behind what she was writing about, especially the helping others mentality.
2nd Place: 400 SP Delegation (1 month)
@ma1neevent with his submission: @STEEMUSA is here, in all of it's Red, White, N Blue Glory!
Ma1neevent shares his patriotism for the wonderful USA and talks about how Americans should share positive things for the world to see. He mentions about how proud he is of the country, suggests plans for future meetups, and also tells us how he is going to spread the word about the USA through his photography showcasing his region. He includes many beautiful photos from his neck of the woods.
3rd Place: 200 SP Delegation (1 month)
@ethandsmith with his submission: SteemUSA: A New Group for Promoting Original Work from United States Steemians!
Ethandsmith shared his utmost enthusiasm that the USA was finally being well represented on Steemit and how happy he was to be apart of it. He mentions what steemians can see from him including how he wants to share his experiences of living in the USA to the rest of the world.

That's a great question! This is definitely the community to be in if you are from or in the USA, it's a great group of people so far and we have only scratched the surface.
