Steemit Virus Contest: My Best Quote And How It Can Affect You Positively

Hello Steemian! Today i shall be writing in a bid to participate in the contest organized by @gbenga. While i have the option of talking about poem or quote, i will go for the latter and i hope it inspires you!

Growing up, i always asked some questions about creation. I wonder where we would be had God not created us. I wonder if there is no world at all, would there have been any creature called man. This 'wonder' got me so confused and exhausted every time i try to philosophize about it. 

Little did i know i was going to study Philosophy! Philosophy itself started from 'wonder'!!

This state of perplexity after rigorous philosophizing brought an idea about how life ought to be lived so as to be free from the possibility of a bad hereafter.

The idea about hereafter has different meaning to different people. While some have argued that after death, there is no transformation into another realm, some have argued that the man soul lives his body after death and goes into another realm! This, perhaps, would be discussed in another post.

Now to the issue at hand,  my quote is:

Live life as if the next seconds is your last

As Christians (or whatever religion you practice), we 'know' that heaven is 'real' and 'hell' is real. We also 'know' that we would be judged according to what we did while on planet earth. 

When you have this feeling that you anything can happen any minutes, it becomes a reminder to you to always act moral because you don't know if that moment is the last.

Someone who lives life as if the next seconds is the last is cautious and conscious of his actions.

Today, many bad things are being done to fellow human beings. People backstabbing each other, killings of fellow human, downgrading of fellow human, money rituals, etc. All these things are done just to pursue vanity. This reminds me of a line in 2Face song where he asked: "Why is man so unkind to mankind"? You can simply put it as lack of foresight. Sometimes, you will be forced to ask if these people have conscience? 

I bother less about the gains but rather focus on the positive impact i will be making as a living creature. Sometimes, having HAPPINESS as your reward is greater than monetary value. You will have this feeling in the that you did a noble thing.

The moment you can draw a line among these things: what you want in life, what life wants from you, what you want out of life, and what you aim to achieve AFTER life, the moment you see your true self and consider yourself a true image of the Creator.

It is true, however, that we cannot determine how we will be judged but the first things is to live a good life, be morally upright, love your neighbors, obey the rules you are commanded to obey by the Creator. This way, you can have peace of heart that you did all He asked of you.

With the quote in your 'heart' or brain as a reminder, you will live life in the simplest way it should. Just as Mr Eazy (musician) usually says: Life is easy!

The quote will benefit you greatly. Nobody knows what tomorrow holds, we only plan towards it. So use that as a guide and when the time comes, people will say great things about you. So live as if tomorrow is your last!
