What a great initiative @whatamidoing although I’ve had some successes with this series, the inaugural post really fell flat.

This was a touching story. That you allow the posts of others to trigger nostalgia within you is also a very nice concept that I can kind of relate to. :c)

I enjoyed this story because an unrelated (yet related) incident recently happened in my girlfriend's life, although she did need a little encouragement from me .... to ask a question of someone who she's been terrified of asking for years. Said person's answer was music to her ears. Wish I could explain more, but let's just say it was a family affair. Yikes...I've said too much ;)

That is pretty amazing that he felt strong enough to ask for her contact and that they ended up together. That’s a true magnetic pull!
Not only contacting her @whatamidoing, but within 3 months he actually went to visit her in Singapore for a week. Someone that had NEVER done any international traveling.
