Honestly, when I started this contest, one of the goals that I'd like to achieve is for me to see the beauty in humanity once again. When you work in the government, believe me, it will crush your trust in people into million pieces. You will become disappointed over and over again, until you're numb and you don't care anymore. You'll have to deal with one of the worst scenarios of your life, things you didn't know could happen, people whom you never thought could exist. And you'll complain and rant every single day. Hahaha.
But this contest is my dose of reminder that there are still a bunch of kind hearted people out there changing lives, and trying to make a difference. Its such a blessing to meet beautiful souls like you guys. You are my constant reminder of the true meaning of compassion. So, thank you very much. 💚

MAKE A DIFFERENCE Contest • Round #10
My participation consists in showing him an activity that I carried out in a community work together with some colleagues from the university to help the people of a community to conserve their food and offer talks about the use of these foods. The community calls "Guire guire" and they have many spaces and fertile lands to plant, so we chose this place because we felt it appropriate to impart our knowledge to these people. On the other hand, the community was receptive and it was a mutual learning.
Nice one dear @meetmysuperego, it's another beautiful oppoturnity to be part of this week'a act of randommness.
My entry for this:
There is a girl in my group by name @kwinesther who needed help in order to pay her fees so she wouldn't loose a semester.
We decided to contribute atleast one SBD and help her to pay the fees.
Thanks to God, for those that supported and we were able to raise over 70+ SBD and she was able to pay her fees.
I donated 2SBD.

Hi steemians! I really appreciated this kind of contest and i was so thankful for this contest to show the goodness for humanity in our community. Thanks to @randomkindness.😊 here is mine.
This picture taken at brgy burot tarlac philippines, it was our feeding program for the unfortunate children. We give some gifts and food to eat. And we gather also a parlor games so that they will enjoy. But most of all we spread the word of God to them, to teach them how good is God!
The happiness that you felt this kindness is no cost and you will bring glory to God...and i know that our labor in the Lord is not in vain.😊
Be happy what are you doing, always remember; a happy and successful life begins with God, ends with God!🙏☝

MAKE A DIFFERENCE Contest • Round # 10
Today I show you a job I did recently to get rid of some garbage from a beach that is very close to where I live. I was able to rid the beach and its surroundings of plastic, bags, glass bottles, cigarette butts, fruit seeds, among others. It is true that we must help others but something very important is to help ourselves taking care of our environment because it is the place where we live. The reason was for the celebration of the last World Oceans Day.
