Friday Poets, Round 9
It's Friday and the start of something good: #poetryweekend. Tomorrow is #haikusaturday and Sunday will bring on the return of the dead with #deadpoems.
But today is #fridaypoets where we glue our hands to the keyboard ... don't glue your fingers; just your palms, it's hard to type that way ... and chornicle lives we wish we were having or lives we wish others weren't ... in verse.
Hey ... it beats standing in line at some pretentious club, talking about work-out routines and taking group-selfies to show how much fun you are having and then face-tuning all the faces, except of that one girl you totally hate ... oh yeah, she doesn't deserve to look like a blurry kewpie doll. The world can see her and all her totally realistic hag-lines. That will teach her for following you and then unfollowing you, once your followed her on face-toon-a-gram.

The life of the fisherman, so exposed not only to the inclemencies of the sun, salt and hard work, but also exposes life, sometimes. The sea gives, but also removes. Good job!
This is sister. The life of the fisherman is a constant adventure on the verge of death.

There is a lack of hope in the life you are facing. Try to sing again, redraw the joy in the rainbow, furrowing the blue sky. Go back to live with illusion.
Life is seen with the optics of each one. It does not have a single form and there are no recipes to live it. The important thing is to find our voice and look at the world with our own eyes, from our essence. ¡Thanks for the comment of your impression, my brother!

A poem to a dearest friend.
Tribute poem to a loved one that went to another plane. There is a lot of feeling and respect present in the writing. You have done an excellent job, dear @marlyncabrera. It is really beautiful and delicate.
Ah Pryde, it is so good of you to facilitate this poetry awesomeness! I most definitely cracked a smile when I read the hag-lines part of your persuasive poetry participation paragraph of snarky sarcasticness. LOL! You are a gem my friend, hope there are TONS of entries!!!
