GRAND PRIZE - Betting Fund
Hey, welcome along! If you are reading this article and you haven't already seen the post about my World Cup Prediction Contest then I advise you to head over there right now. Promise me you'll come straight back after though!
This post is where you can find information about the GRAND PRIZE mentioned in the post above... Just to make sure let's recap. I have given my friend (an anonymous Steemian of ill-repute) £50 and asked him to gamble with it for the duration of the World Cup. Any money in the pot at the end of the tournament forms the Grand Prize in my contest!
Unfortunately, my friend appears to have had some kind of terrible fever dream while making his predictions for the first set of group games. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that one or two of his outlandish predictions manages to come good.
Below you will find the progress round by round, listed bet by bet. I will continue to update this post as we move through the rounds of the tournament! Don't forget to tell your friends about this competition because, you know, the more the merrier!

Argentina vs Iceland over 5.5 goals, 21-1 that's an awesome bet with Messi Aguera and Higuain on the field, not sure about Costa Rica but there is always a little team that surprises everyone!

True enough... I'm sure a few of the bets will come in... The first Saturday will be quite a day if the France and Argentina bets both come in!

Still I do see some bets which I would like.
Lets cross the fingers. Is he allowed to continue to place bets when the first round is over and still have some betting funds?
Yep... some good stuff and some bad stuff but then anything can happen in the World Cup! My 'predictor' will be rolling funds over nad betting all the way through the competition so hopefully there will be something left in the prize fund!
