NOT a Catch up round!

We have decided to end the catch up rounds for the season, since we are so close to the finals. This way it will give ALL players an opportunity to earn some XP and/or a win! By adding a second round this week, we hope to see the top 16 tournament really take shape! Good Luck to all! We are excited to see how the top 16 plays out!

Added note.

IMPORTANT. There are a few accounts currently in the top 16 that have gone inactive on steemit over the course of the season. We would like to draw attention to these accounts. We feel it unfair for an inactive account going into the sweet 16 tournament. We will give you the chance to become active by responding to these messages. Within the coming weeks we will also be reaching out to these accounts. However if your account has been inactive, by the start of the tournament, you may be removed from the top 16 and everyone will "bump" up a position in the game.

Fairy Tale Re-Write!

Growing up we hear and enjoy so many fairy tales! For this quest pick your favorite or any and have a re-write! Create a different outcome, add a character, make it modern, or even write it as a poem! Have fun with it! The judges will be looking for the most creative in their minds or if you get lucky and pick one of their favorite fairy tales you may get their vote! Good Luck!

Rules

  1. Thirty-seventh challenge starts now and is The Fairy Tale Re-Write Challenge.
  2. Create a blog post for the contest.
  3. Title must contain contest round, "IFC S1: R37 - Entry"
  4. Leave a link to your post in the comments below.
  5. Use the #ifc tag in your blog post as well.
  6. If you somehow get hurt doing any of our quests you can not justifiably hold us accountable. Take responsibility for your own choices and actions in life. This is a voluntary game where you choose to play. Only you can make that decision for yourself.
  7. You are responsible for paying the appropriate government taxes, fees, and service charges resulting from any transactions with the IFC or Marketplace. We are not responsible for collecting, reporting, paying, or remitting to you any such taxes, fees, or service charges, except as may otherwise be required by law.

For this challenge.. If there's a tie.. We will do another round to see who wins.
The winner will be decided by whoever gets the most votes.

The only people who can vote in a qualifying sense are @apolymask and the judges selected and they will vote by leaving a comment on the submission that they like the most and say something like.. "I vote for this one" and a reason why they voted would be good too, but is not mandatory.

You have until this challenge post payout ends to submit your post. Though we do accept late entries if you get it in before all the judges vote.

The challenge will finish after 7 days when the post ends and provides its payout cycle and unless there is a tie, the winner will gain the steem, the XP and have a point to go towards their long term win. (minus the 25% for curation)

Acceptable content

  1. Blog post on the topic of The Fairy Tale Re-Write!
  2. Language is primarily in English and if you would like to participate from elsewhere in the world it is up to you to translate your message into English so we can understand you.
  3. We also encourage role playing for those who enjoy doing that. :)

Good luck in the contest! And We Look Forward to seeing you in Cryptopia!

Special Thanks to @ifc sponsors!

First up is @ats-david who has helped greatly! If you appreciate this contest or just his efforts in general you may want to look into voting for him as a witness at @ats-witness, he does a lot of other cool things for the community as well!

Next is @timcliff who has similarly helped out the contest significantly and who is also a witness who does a lot for the community, so likewise if you appreciate the efforts you may want to vote for him as witness also!

@krnel has also offered some support and does other good things to help out on the platform in general, I suggest you vote for krnel as a witness as well if you want to support all of this.

@steemcommunity has also helped us and expressed interest in helping more in the future and they likewise also help the community in various additional ways, I suggest voting for them as witness as well!

I'd also like to thank @theguruasia who has pledged at least 20 steem to the second and third place prizes and he said he may even donate more.

And @nxtblg who has been regularly resteeming and upvoting our challenges which has been a big help!

Plus one other person who has been helping a lot who deserves some credit is @soundlegion who has also been upvoting the contests regularly.

And while not technically sponsors, we are working with @davemccoy and those at #newbiegames and #newbieresteemday and they do a great service to the community so definitely check them out if you appreciate that, or if you're new.

So excited for this round! I know i say that on about every round but I'm truly loving getting back to creativity!!! My own and reading others getting back to theirs!!! Good luck everyone!!! Sweet 16!!!!

It will fit right into your book shop! :D

hahaha the book? yes definitely! I'm looking forward to reading through them I'm a couple days behind due to life lol getting things organized to get to tonight!!!

In Cryptopia I believe you're the keeper of books aren't you!? Yeh its hard sometimes to manage everything!

Ha! The Archivist

I am known to keep a list or two of all the fantastic entries in the Digita Library at The center of Cryptopia

lol @apolymask maybe that's it!

@bashadow thanks for remembering how awesome IFC is... Although i saw it late but i am making an entry asap

Great, I look forward to reading it.

Cool. I wonder what kind of stories we'll get to see. :D We definitely have a bunch of really great and creative writers here. We may need to try to remind peoples though that this is open to everyone and not just a catch up round. I'll prolly do that in a future post or on discord as well. Though I think it'd be good to stress to everyone playing that there's only a few rounds left and anyone can play.

I think reminders would be helpful!

All I can say is I tried. Three Little Redfish

Feel free to bump me out and give my place to a more active member, (I believe I slid up near the top 16 when I was much more active) I know I have been slacking with the IFC because I have so many things going on. I love these rounds and I want to try to fit an entry in here or there but I know it will be few and far between. I would want someone more involved to make it to the finals. :) Maybe next round I can carve out more time for the IFC

This one had my head going in many different directions. Here's my entry.
